August 17 / August 30 (Julian Calendar)
On this day, August 17 according to the Julian Calendar (August 30 civil calendar), the Georgian Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Martyrs Thyrsus, Leucius, Coronatus and their companions. They suffered in Caesarea of Bithynia and in Apollonia during the reign of the emperor Decius (249-251).
