On this day, August 17 according to the Julian Calendar (August 30 civil calendar), the Georgian Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Martyrs Paul, his sister Juliana, and those who suffered together with them. They suffered for Christ about the year 273, during the reign of the emperor Aurelian (270-275), in the city of Ptolemais in Phoenicia.
