When the saints had been arrested and brought before the tribunal, they confessed Christ with courage and refused to offer sacrifice to the idols.

Then the torturers dragged the chosen ones of the Lord through narrow and trackless places, over stones and jagged ledges, until in their torments they gave up their souls and were joined to the glory of heaven.
