On this day, September 13 according to the Julian Calendar (September 26 civil calendar), the Georgian Orthodox Church commemorates Holy Martyrs Cronides, Leontius and Serapion (†c. 237).

The Holy Martyrs Cronides, Leontius and Serapion were Egyptians. They suffered for Christ around the year 237, in the reign of Emperor Maximinus I (235–238). After many kinds of torture, the godless ones drowned the confessors in the sea. The waves cast the holy bodies ashore, and the Christians buried them with honour.
