On this day, June 20 according to the Julian Calendar (July 3 civil calendar), the Georgian Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Martyrs Inna, Pinna, and Rimma.
The Holy Martyrs Inna, Pinna, and Rimma were disciples of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called. They were Scythians by birth who accepted the Christian faith and preached the Gospel among their countrymen. For refusing to renounce Christ, they were seized by the pagan tribal ruler and subjected to cruel torture. They were driven into an icy river and drowned, becoming martyrs for the faith in the first or second century.
On June 20 the transfer of their incorrupt relics to Aluston (modern Alushta) is commemorated.
May the intercessions of the Holy Martyrs Inna, Pinna, and Rimma be with us all.
