On this day, June 18 according to the Julian Calendar (July 1 civil calendar), the Georgian Orthodox Church commemorates Holy Martyr Eterios.
The Holy Martyr Eterios suffered for Christ around the year 305 AD, during the persecutions under Emperor Diocletian. He confessed his faith boldly before the Roman authorities and endured torture with great courage, ultimately giving his life for Christ. The Church honors him as a holy martyr.
May the intercessions of Holy Martyr Eterios be with us all.
